Richard T Norris
Richard cut his teeth as a self-taught engineer in the late Eighties running his own demo studio which evolved from a tiny 8-track studio in Hammersmith to a larger 16-track studio near Heathrow. With the move across from tape to digital around 1990 Richard set up one of the first UK programming suites within the Utopia Studios facility in Primrose Hill, London and focused particularly on rhythm programming for artists such as Bryan Ferry, Deborah Harry, film composers Craig Armstrong and Ed Sheamur, The Pet Shop Boys and many others. He then set up a private recording studio for Bryan Ferry in West London which is still operating today. Later he co-wrote and re-mixed with Richard Norris (The Grid) on two electronic music projects called Doppelganger and Goldstar. Richard then left the music business and set up a classic car parts company called Classic Alfa as his other passion (an understatement!) has always been cars. He ran this for 20 years culminating in a sale to the staff in 2023.
In 2025 Richard decided to set up a recording studio again, but this time with no commercial agenda - instead aiming to support emerging bands and young engineers in and around the Brighton area. He got a bit carried away with the equipment - which is good news for all of you! Richard is also looking for projects to mix - send him an email and a snippet of your music and he will reply with availability and cost.
Danny Rolph
Danny has enjoyed working across a range of genres, from post-punk and R&B to jungle and electronic music over the past 4 years. He’s worked with a variety of local artists and bands, helping shape ideas into finished records from early demos through to final mixes. Alongside engineering, he writes and produces music for sync, regularly working to briefs.
Danny is also the lead singer of a Brighton post-punk band, giving him a strong understanding of the artist perspective, which feeds into the way he approaches sessions.
Isaac Fenton
Isaac graduated with a degree in Sound and Music Production in 2025, writing and producing music with multiple artists across various genres such as folk, pop, and indie rock.
Isaac now works as a freelance producer / engineer working with local artists - recording, mixing and mastering their music to a high standard - whilst maintaining a clean, natural sound. As an avid guitarist and bassist, he’s played in multiple bands over the last few years and is well versed in taking a song written in a rehearsal room, through to a fully mastered track.
